For an individual with no prior knowledge of how this field works, it can seem confusing by the vast amount of pathways. ​ On top of this, the spread of COVID-19 has limited in-person opportunities to learn about medicine and its field. As there weren't many virtual opportunities at the time, students were even more perplexed. ​ With the resources Operation MEDucation offers, this initiative is sure to empower, educate, and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our Programs Everything Operation MEDucation has to offer Virtual Shadowing Sessions This is an opportunity for students who want to learn more about certain specialties in the medical field. Students will be able to virtually shadow various healthcare professionals while earning 2 shadowing hours (Can be claimed after taking a short 10 question quiz). Q/A session will be available after each shadowing session! Sign up for our next session! Watch our previous debates In-Person Clinical Experience Although Operation MEDucation does provide many programs to help you succeed, getting experience firsthand and in-person is vital as well. Here are some opportunities to apply for in-person clinical experiences. We will then compile these clips and send them to nearby hospitals to help brighten up a patient's day! Send in a clip!
